Watson Wheatley Financial Systems (WWFS), specialists in securities reconciliation, have been announced as winners at the 2017 AI Hedge Fund Awards. The award for Best Financial Reconciliation Software Specialists marks the 4th win for the WWFS team at the Hedge Fund Awards.
WWFS Director Tom Wheatley commented “We are again delighted to win an award for the new version of our iRecs reconciliation software. Our team has done an excellent job with this product and included many new features suggested by our clients. The last quarter of 2016 and start of 2017 have been very successful with the addition of two new clients, expansion at existing clients and now the recognition that this award provides.”
Tom has a background in investment operations working for both The Bank of New York and Cazenove Capital Management in London. He previously had a career in motorsport as a driver, instructor and operations manager both in the UK and North America. Tom holds a BSc (Hons.) in Motorsport Management from the University of Wales, the Executive MBA from Oxford University's Saïd Business School and the Investment Management Certificate.
